- Clean and visually inspect wheel assembly for damage, wear, corrosion foreign material, cracks, and compatibility of components
- Clean and visually inspect mounting surfaces and fasteners for damage, wear, corrosion, foreign material and cracks
- Check specifications and compare to conditions found
- Complete reports and action findings
- Discard unusable fasteners
- Fit wheel assembly
- Access and interpret wheel assembly fitting information
- Identify and apply methods for fitting the wheel
- Identify and apply tightening sequence, torque settings and inflation pressure
- Check wheel assembly for correct fitment including alignment
- Identify and apply methods for lowering equipment
- Identify and apply re-torque as required
- Record data and all work performed
